1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on CallRoom, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, and professional role (for medical professionals) or property details (for property owners). We also collect information about how you use our platform, including housing requests, offers submitted, and interactions with other users.

For medical professionals, we may collect details about your hospital assignment, specialty, and employment verification. For property owners, we collect property addresses, listing details, photos, and pricing information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve CallRoom, including matching housing requests with property offers, facilitating communication between tenants and property owners, verifying user identities, and sending relevant notifications about your account activity.

We may also use your information to analyze platform usage, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and send you updates about CallRoom features and services (which you can opt out of at any time).

3. Information Sharing

We share limited information between tenants and property owners only when necessary to facilitate a housing connection — for example, when a property owner submits an offer to a tenant's request. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, with law enforcement when required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your profile settings. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely by contacting us at privacy@callroom.net.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (which we do not engage in).

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our platform. For more information, please see our Cookie Policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of CallRoom after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Contact Us

If you have questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, please contact us at privacy@callroom.net or visit our Contact page.
